RBINS Echinodermata collection

Description

The RBINS is known for its rich echinoderm collections. The Institute has a particularly rich collection of sea cucumbers, with material from all over the world and many type specimens. Of particular interest to the taxonomic community are the several thousands of microscope slides of ossicles from thousands of specimens, including hundreds of type specimens.
