Description

This dataset is a databased part of the bird collection from the Musée des Confluences (Lyon) which contains more than 30,000 specimens. The collection of Dr. Hubert Bonnetain were donated to the Musée des Confluences in 2018. It includes ab. 5,400 specimens with 3,500 mounted birds and 2,000 skins, in particular the historic specimens of Hemery, the founder of the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux (LPO) and a diorama worked by Roland Ward. These specimens come from all over the world.
