Description

The database contains information on selected collections of vascular plants housed in the “Herbarium generale”, “Carl Lauterbach's Herbarium” and “Herbarium silesiacum”, which are part of the Herbarium of the Museum of Natural History of Wrocław University (WRSL). The compiled specimens include materials originating from 58 countries spread across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Oceania. Almost 86% of the collection consists of specimens collected between 1817 and 1945. The remaining part (14%) is represented by materials collected between 1951 and 2018. The collections include plants belonging to 30 families, of which the most numerous (90%) are members of Lamiaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Juncaceae, Asteraceae, Salicaceae, Scrophulariaceae, and Caryophyllaceae.
