Description
As part of the OPKK project activities titled "Defining SMART Conservation Objectives and Basic Conservation Measures for Target Species and Habitat Types - Group 5: Defining Objectives and Conservation Measures for Insufficiently Known Bird Species," aimed at developing conservation measures for 111 bird species of EU interest, new data on the abundance and distribution of the targeted species were collected. This dataset comprises observations of various bird species recorded between 2021 and 2023.
Geographic Description
The whole of Croatia, with a focus on forest and wetland habitats.
Data quality
Species identifications are verified by an expert.
Methods
The data were collected using standard research methods on predefined localities described in the corresponding reports (associatedReferences). The data were entered into standard spreadsheet forms, with attributes aligned with the Darwin Core (DwC) standard.
