Description
The database contains data concerning insect specimens, mainly belonging to the orders Lepidoptera, Hymenoptera and Diptera, gathered in the collections of the Natural History Museum of the University of Lodz. The most important individual collections included in the database are european butterflies and moths by Zygmunt Śliwiński and the collection of wasps, bees and syrphid flies gathered by Jan K. Kowalczyk.
