Description

The database contains information on selected collections of fungi housed in the fungarium of the Herbarium of the Museum of Natural History of the University of Wrocław (WRSL-F). The data covers collections from 70 countries scattered across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, Oceania, and Australia. The material includes collections gathered by over 500 collectors and consists of individual collections and over 150 different exsiccatae or exsiccata-like series. Almost 76% of the collection consists of specimens collected between 1814 and 1945. The remaining part (24%) is represented by materials collected between 1946 and 1994. The compiled collections include representatives of Ascomycota (the vast majority), Basidiomycota, Oomycota, Chytridiomycota, Plasmodiophoromycota, and Blastocladiomycota.
